US Open

Hey guys. I just got back to Webster and decided to upload a few of pictures that my dad took at the US Open. We saw 5 matches during the day. The first one was Lleyton Hewitt vs Taylor Dent, Hewitt won in 5 sets. Then we went to Louis Armstrong, where our official seats were, and saw Nadia Petrova beat up on some 16 year old. Then Verdasco beat this guy Novak Djovich in 5 sets. Then we saw Davide Sangunetti beat Paradorn Srichaphan in 5 sets. This was definitely one of the best matches I have ever seen. The last 3 sets were all tie breaks and very competitive. At one point in the 5th set Srichaphan chased down a forehand winner by Sangunetti and kind of tripped and fell down. It appeared that he had been injured because he was laying face down for a good 2 minutes grabbing his leg. As the trainers rushed down he started doing push ups and slowly got up. The crowd roared. The two players were great showmen. Finally we saw David Nalbandian beat Juan Gonzalez(I think that was his name) pretty convincingly. It was all good fun.

The top right picture is the score board at the end. To the right of that is Sangunetti after he won, below that is Srichaphan serving. Finally there's just a pic of my mom, my sister and I.
